He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Thomas and Leona Thomas Sr.. He is survived by: his brothers, J. C. Thomas Jr. and Denver Lee Thomas; his wife Claniel Thomas; his children, Eddie Ray Spears (Stephanie), Willie Ray Thomas Jr. (Tammy), Linda Faye Thomas, Stanley Thomas and Jason Gerod Thomas; and his godchildren, Al Alexander and Jeromica Kirk Halterman. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (1222 Capps St, Marlin, TX 76661). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Kirk Memorial Cemetery.
