He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Ed and Allie Davis Braswell; his stepmother Grace Davis Braswell; and his stepsiblings, Dorothy Harris and Milton Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Pitrucha Braswell; his children, Walter Ed Braswell Jr. (Beverly) of Weatherford and Stacie Martin (Fred) of Bremond; his grandchildren, Alicia Head (Jordan), Kayla Braswell, John Pecina III and Dyllon Fowler (Stephanie); and his half-sister Margie Locke Hill of Richardson.
