It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vence Robert Margoitta Sr. (Marlin, Texas), who passed away on March 24, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Margoitta and Lucille Margoitta (Lucy); his wife Betty Jo Margoitta; his daughter Rita Schroeder; his siblings, Tony Margoitta and Dorothy Marie Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Nowaski, Louis Swick Sr., Stanley Rekieta, Marion Warhol, Fred Warhol, Paul Mushinski, Margaret Swick, Lillian Rekieta and JoAnne Warhol.

He is survived by: his children, Vince Margoitta Jr. (Kimberley) and Lisa Margoitta Smith; his son-in-law Louis Schroeder (Shirley); his siblings, Joe Margoitta (Pat), Frank Milton Margoitta (Linda), Frances Healan (Jerry) and Mary Stella O'Quin; his sister-in-law Clara Mushinski; his grandchildren, Brandon Schroeder, Robert Smith (RJ) and Lexie Smith Minor (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Blaise, Scarlett Minor and Catteleya Smith. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
