He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Haug and Selma Dreyer Haug of Perry; and his grandson Dusty Cole Barrett. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Dugger and Kelly Pankonien; his grandchildren, Lyndsey Barrett Diaz, Courtney Barrett Bradford, Lance Dugger of Harker Heights, Taylor Pankonien of Lorena and Jamie Pankonien of Lorena; his stepgrandchildren, Melissa Gonzales, Crystal Shimabukuro and Chad Dugger of Jarell; his great grandchildren, Bradley Ayers, Nicasio Diaz of Belton and Addison Bradford of Killeen; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Victoria Shimabukuro of Temple, Benjamin of Temple, Hunter, Christopher and Tyler Gonzales of Mart; his sister Marge Denke; his husband Fred Denke of Ft. Worth; his siblings, Janet Jones of Kosse and James Haug; and his brother-in-law David Fedro of Hallsburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Marlin.
