He is survived by: his brother Roger Nutt; his father Max Atkins (Jann) of Marlin, Texas.; his children, Austin Atkins (Samantha) of Michigan, Tyler Atkins of Michigan and Megan Atkins of Denton; his siblings, Angie Cooper (Bryan) of San Antonio, Texas. and Chris Secrest (Dina) of San Marcus; his grandchildren, Daisy Atkins, Dallas Atkins and Scottie Deford; and his nieces and nephews, Kaitlin Moore (Matt), Kendall Cooper, Abigail Secrest and Claire Secrest.
Private Graveside Due to Covid-19 will be officiated by Brother Roger Nutt.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial can be made to Eastside Church of Christ in Marlin, Texas.
