It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronny Gilbert of Marlin, Texas, born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gilbert and Vercie Gilbert (Gorham). He is survived by: his wife Becky Gilbert of Marlin; his children, Ron Fangio (Enza) of McKinney, Scott Lewis (Andrew Sinclair) of London, England, Brad Gilbert (Amanda) of West, Vicki Merritt and John Hurst of Elm Mott; his grandchildren, Clayton Merritt (Ashley), Kayla Fuentes (Nick), Preston Merritt (Haley) and Grant Gilbert; and his great grandchildren, Zoie, Hendrix, Lincoln, Emmitt and Nolan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital.
