Raymond Pragluski Jr. Obituary
Raymond Peter "Mouse" Pragluski, Jr. passed away on July 9, 2021 in Marlin, TX. Raymond was born on November 19, 1946, in New Britain, CT to Raymond and Philomene Pragluski (Motes). He was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Springfield, MA. Ray proudly served his country as an Army Ranger in the Vietnam War. He was a proud member of the Patriot Riders, the America Legion Riders and the Shriners.
Ray worked as a tool and dye grinder for various companies in his life including Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks, CT and Pratt and Whitney in Hartford, CT. Ray was also a 32nd degree mason. He is survived by his five children, Michael Stevens of West Grove, PA, Raymond Pragluski III, Lisa Hamel of Agawam, MA, Nadene Pragluski of West Springfield, MA, and David Buscemi of Longmeadow, MA.
Ray has twelve grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Pragluski of Springfield, MA, Judithe Pragluski of Niantic, CT, Joan Marshall of Los Angeles, CA, Rita Hurley of Ludlow, MA, and Karen Beaudry of Los Angeles, CA. He leaves behind many friends that became family including two of his closest friends, Brandon Saenz of Waco, TX and Eddie Gomez of Brownwood, TX.
He was preceded in death by his son, Evan Buscemi; and his parents, Raymond and Philomene Pragluski. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.
