She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Nelson and Bessie Nelson; and her son Gregory N. Smith. She is survived by: her husband T. L. "Bud" Farmer; her son Ronald T. Smith; her grandchildren, Tracy Hunn, Amy Gough and Bryan Smith; her great grandchildren, Blake Hunn, Colton Hunn, Alyssa Gough, Kassie Gough, Kaylee Gough, Nathan Smith and Madison Smith; and her brother-in-law Joe Farmer (Berinda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
