He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn W. Garrett and Elnora Ray Garrett; his wife Janis McElroy; his daughter Misti Garrett Hildabrand; his siblings, Garland Garrett and Janniece Garrett Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Garrett and Gary Scott.
He is survived by: his sons, Leonard Garrett (Bo) and Bo Garrett; his sister Linda Garrett Scott; and his brother-in-law John Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
