He was predeceased by: his parents, C. L. Trice and Daphine Trice (Bailey); his wife Edith Jean Trice; his daughters, Dorothy Ann Trice and Lisa Daphine Trice; and his brothers, Charles Lee Trice, III and Joe Clyde Trice.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Tommy J. (Frances Trice), Randal Trice of Gainsville, David Trice of Snook, Joe Trice of Shreveport, LA, Karen Jean Friudenberg (Frank) of Sanger and Terri Wallace of Monroe, LA.
