Genavieve Rowell Obituary

The memory of Genavieve Rowell of Marlin, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on June 12, 2024 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Albert and Irma Richie Swinnea Briggs; and her siblings, Gene Briggs, John Roy Briggs and Betty Sue Kasner.

She is survived by: her husband James Arthur Rowell; her pets, Abby, Ellie and Buster Brown; her daughters, Susan Kraus (Jeff) of Georgetown, Karen Evans (Curtis) of Riesel, Janie Maxey (Mark) of Riesel, Sara Antis (Donald) of Marlin and Melissa Rowell of Marlin; her grandchildren, Derreck Maxey of Riesel, Curtis Evans, Jr. (Jodie) of Waco, Matthew Antis (Brittany) of Mineral Wells, Morgan Kaminski (Tyler) of Riesel and Natalie Antis of San Antonio; her great grandchild Oliver Antis of Mineral Wells; her brother Billy Briggs (Gloria) of Marlin; and her sister-in-law Ramona Watson of Marlin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews, and of course, her pets.
