She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bryant Denton and Elnora Ogden Denton; her husband Buel Manes; her son Michael Wayne Manes; her siblings, Maxine Dieterich and Jack Denton; and her niece LaShawn Dieterich.

She is survived by: her son John Manes (Pauline) of Houston; her niece Christy (John Culpepper); her granddaughters, Jana Dulock of Marlin, Lynne Campbell (Ryan) of Teague, Melanie Bhateley (Dileep) of Waco and Elizabeth Sharp of Frisco; her great grandchildren, Brent Manes, Cody Windham, Clay Crane and Abigail Kilman; her great-nephew Raymond Stetson Ehlers; and her great great grandchildren, Jaxton and Journey. She is also survived by her grandkids, and loving on her cats and dogs.
