She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Alford and Katie Alford (Henderson); her husband Joseph L. Vandiver; her siblings, Elona Sharp (Sue) and Fraymon Alford; and her son Louis Vandiver.

She is survived by: her son Robert Randoll Vandiver (Normenia); and her sister Katie Ruth Null. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
