He was predeceased by : his parents, Bedford Lauderdale and Viola Lauderdale (Webb); and his sisters, Mildred Lauderdale, Juanita Woodfil and Dot Guttery.

He is survived by : his children, Helen Newman (Donald) of Bruceville, TX and Andy Lauderdale (Terri) of Robinson, TX; his grandchildren, Elisha Murry of Robinson, Cody Newman (Stephanie) and Devin Lauderdale of Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Linder and Jenna Harper.
