With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Boyd of Marlin, Texas, who passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Roman and Octavene Boyd (Burton); and her sisters, Bobbie Ella Boyd Gray (Van) and Emma Jean Boyd Southerland (Homer V. Southerland, Jr.). She is survived by : her niece Connie Southerland Warchesiak (Archie); her nephews, Robert Martin Southerland (Denise) and David Gene Southerland (Janice); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Bobby Warchesiak, Christopher Warchesiak, Miranda Southerland Luddington (Chris), Kellie Southerland Vincent (Jonathan) and Amy Elaine Southerland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the First Baptist Church located at 309 Coleman St, Marlin, TX 76661.
