She was predeceased by : her parents, Tom Bell and Erma Bell (Brown); her daughter Debra Barnes; her stepdaughter Teresa Mitchell; and her brothers, J. W. Bell, Harold Bell and James "Cotton" Bell.

She is survived by : her daughter Michelle Nutt (Russell); her stepdaughter Tina Fogle (Gary); and her siblings, George Bell, Kenneth Bell (Sandy) and Joyce Burks. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
