Wayne Floyd Obituary
We bid farewell to Wayne Floyd of Marion, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Wayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Breland Floyd and Blanche Griffith Floyd; his siblings, Barbara Mink, Breland "Beau" Floyd and Steve Floyd; his brother-in-law Robert "Doe" Beggs; his wife Gloria Jean Floyd; and his children, Brenda Erwin and Robert Floyd.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ryan Erwin (Kristy), Amanda Erwin, Vanessa Bryant (David), Jesse Floyd (Lauren) and Dylan Floyd (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Gage, Gentry Erwin, Kora Bryant, Brookelynn Floyd, Chloe Floyd, Jackson Wayne Floyd and Isabel Floyd; his children-in-law, Ricky Erwin and Lourdes Mott (Clint); his adoptive son Eddie Porter (Vivian); his siblings-in-law, Harold Mink, Barbara Beggs, Ann Floyd and BJ Floyd; and also, Dominique and Jewel. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Max Slayton Funeral Chapel (642 N Rockwall Ave, Terrell, TX 75160). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
