He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto, Sr. Luensmann and Alma Luensmann (Bielke); and his siblings, Viola Loeffler, Elfrieda Beyer, Evelyn Klein, Marie Stacey, Helen Lampman and Henry Jr. "Hank" Luensmann.
He is survived by: his wife La Verne Luensmann (Lehmann); his son Horace Luensmann (Laura); his granddaughters, Kayla Zegels (Koert) and Sabrina Reiley (Bradley); his great grandchildren, Luke Zegels, Elliot Zegels, Bennett Reiley and Sterlee Reiley; his siblings, Lillian Strey (Willie), Benno Luensmann (Shirley) and Otto Luensmann, Jr. (Loraine); his sister-in-law Helen Luensmann; his nephews, Ernie Loeffler, Rusty Lampman, Warren Lampman, Charlie Luensmann, Darren Luensmann, Brian Luensmann, Reagan Luensmann, Bradley Klein and Wesley Klein; and also, Steve Reel, Harold Sinclair, Jim Rackley, Bob Matthiessen and Frank Bird.
