He is survived by: his wife Joyce Damerau; his sons, James Damerau (Gail) and Dale Damerau (Robbin); his grandchildren, Collyn Damerau (Michelle), Doriann Damerau, Courtney Damerau (Aaron Pittmon) and Cayden Damerau; his great grandchildren, Braylee Damerau and Brody Damerau; his sister Gloria Damerau; and his friend Jo Gayle Wright.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice.
