He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wesley Bain and Marjorie Bain (Moore); and his siblings, Andrew Rush, Dolores Dues and Marjorie Oman.

He is survived by: his wife Gertraud Bain; his children, Michael (Meeka), Andrew (Lari) and Denice (Mary); and his grandchildren, Emily (Jeff), Anthony (Stephanie), Lauren (Mark) and Brandon. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
