It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Thelma Smith of Marietta, Texas, who passed away at the age of 89, on August 30, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Harty and Minnie Priscilla Smith Harty; her husband Tommie Smith; her sons, James "Peavine" Smith and Rickie Smith; her sisters, Inez Shaddix, Estelle Smith and Melba Harty; and her grandson Bobby Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Smith of DeSoto, Texas and Missie; and her son-in-law Cole McCord of Hughes Springs, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
