She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Faye Muzzy and Esther Virginia Barnes Muzzy; her husband Bill Shaddix; and her brothers, Edward Muzzy, Bob Muzzy, Richard Muzzy and Harold Kelso.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Denise Shaddix), Donnie (Lori Shaddix) and Darren (Jessica Shaddix); her brother Gary; her sister-in-law Karen Kelso of Olathe, Colorado; and her sister Virginia Altberg of Danbury, Connecticut. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oak Ridge Cemetery Association.
