With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Murphy Sr. of Marietta, Texas, who passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Murphy and Lilly Murphy; and his siblings, Patricia McKinney, Esther Robison and Bobby Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Joyce Murphy; his children, Debbie Harris (Bo), Rita Bennett (Michael), Joy Carnation (Alan), Becky Lawings (Teddy), Bill Murphy (Cheryl) and Pattie Wade (Larry); and his grandchildren, Chris, Stephanie, Brian, Shelley, Tara, Hillary, Tammie, Justin, Jace, McKinsy, Cody, Chandler, Courtney, Celsey and Taylor. He is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
