Alexis Michelle Harris Obituary

Alexis Michelle (Beede) Harris, 45, of Marietta, Texas departed this life on March 25, 2022. She was born July 1, 1976 to Jasper Beede Sr. and Susie Mae Thomas.

Alexis was a devoted servant of the Lord. She was a homemaker who loved gardening, canning her own vegetables and even raising her own herbs.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Susie Thomas; her sister, Connie Ann Beede; her stepmother, Anna Beede.

She is survived by her husband, David Harris of their home in Marietta, Texas; her daughter, Atalanta Herrick of Houston, Texas; her stepson, Joshua D. Harris of Taylor Michigan; her father, Jasper Beede Sr. of Beedeville; her father-in-law, Dwight A. Harris Jr of Warren Michigan; her mother-in-law, Dedina F. Harris of Ferndale Michigan; brothers, Jasper Beede Jr. of Washington State, Russell Beede of Washington State, Cody Werner of Houston, Texas; sisters, Crystal Smith (Scott) of Houston, Texas, Jessica Smith of Vanndale; her uncle, Wyant Beede (Carolyn) of Beedeville; nephews and nieces, Jasper Beede Jr., Sidney Ann Wheeler Beede, Samuel Joseph Votaw Beede, Kellen Marie Votaw Beede, Chandler Whitley and numerous cousins.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are: Bruce Randall, Galen Beede, Dwight A. Harris Jr., Russell Beede, Jasper Beede Jr., and Patrick Alexander. Honorary pallbearers are Reverend Jasper Beede Sr. and Wyant Beede.

Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Beedeville Church of Christ with Brother David Cannon officiating.
