He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Vasquez and Lucille Franco Vasquez; his daughter Deborah Vasquez Stanley of Choctaw, OK; and his great grandchild Rip Gaillard of Perryton, TX.. He is survived by: his siblings, Ricardo "Dickey" Vasquez of Tulsa, OK and Vicki Vasquez Seals (Brian) of Rowlett, TX; his son Robert "Rob" Vasquez II (Kerry) of Round Rock, TX; his grandchildren, Corrine Gaillard, Adam Stanley, Emily Powell and Megan Vasquez; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Powell and Griffin Gaillard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St Marys Catholic Church (612 E 18th St, Odessa, TX 79761). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762).
