He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelton Thibodeaux and Viola Thibodeaux; and his brother Mark Thibodeaux. He is survived by: his wife Jennie; his sisters, Tammie Roy (Gary), Charlotte Duncan (Bob) and Belinda Thibodeaux; and his children, Chad Thibodeaux (Tina), Shelly Franklin (Kenny) and Don Bescher (Kirsten). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association.
