She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Jan Bedell; her husband Richard A. Young; her children, Dorothy Hecimovich, Brian Hecimovich of Port Lavaca, William Young of Arlington, Kristin Mudge, Ian Mudge of Irving, Mercy Fisher, Kenny Fisher of Del Rio and Angela Young (Esteven Rosales) of Abilene; her grandchildren, Annabelle and Axton Fisher of Del Rio; her mother Dorothy DeYoung of Huntsville; her sisters, Gloria Bowling of Jasper and Nancy Bourcier of Tehachapi, CA.; and her father Raymond James DeYoung.
