He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer, Ruby France, Dawn France, Don Lyon, Jim, Sandra Gwidt and Herman Literski; and his aunts, Laurie Ellis and LouAnn Gille.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his daughter Bristol; his parents, Lance and Lori; his brother Tyler Lyon (Jessi); his nephews, Oakley and Aaron Lyon; his grandmother Ruth Lyon (Bill Frieders); his parent-in-law Dave; his brother Mike Gwidt; his sister-in-law Amber Gwidt; his nieces and nephews, Evan and Alivia; and his grandfather-in-law Clara Literski. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and several close friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for the benefit of his daughter, Bristol.
