She was predeceased by: her parent Virgilio Carmignani; and her brother Jim Carmignani (Florence). She is survived by: her parent Maria Carmignani (Bulieri); her spouse Edward Tonelli; her sons, Alan Tonelli (Beth) of Raleigh and Russ Tonelli (Jane) of Wausau; her grandchildren, Andy Tonelli, Christopher Tonelli (Allison), Heather Baker (Mike) of Raleigh, Chris Checkalski (Tony) of Appleton and Vic Tonelli (Lori) of Wausau; and her great grandchildren, Nicole, Miles, Vera Tonelli, Ava, Vivienne Baker, Olivia, Anya, Elise Checkalski, Norman, Malena and Lucca Tonelli. She is also survived by her friends formed a club,"The Girls of '36." The "Girls" met once a month and held family picnics each summer to include their husbands, children and grandchildren.
