He was predeceased by: his mother R. E. Ware; his siblings, Bealon Ware and Bobbie Frazier; and his sons, Jimmy Dale Ware and Jerry Dean Ware.
He is survived by: his wife Janis Ware; his daughter Judy; and his stepdaughter Tammy. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
