He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Elaine Hickman and Joe Cross; and his siblings, Charles Clepper, Norlaine Long and Nadine Black.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Cross (Rebecca), Kelly Cross and Kyle Cross (Melissa); his brother Richard "Ricky" Clepper; and his grandchildren, Haylee and Jeffry Cross.
In lieu of flowers, the Cross family asks that donations be made in Bill's name to The Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org A graveside service will be held for Bill at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038, on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:15 am.
