He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Samuel Peltier and Blondina Anna Peltier (Imhauser); and his siblings, Jerome, Edmund (Catine), Wilfred (Margaret), James, Thomas (Lexa), Catherine Peltier Hechler (Vincent), Dorothy Peltier Morrow (Dwain) and Ronalda Peltier.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Kucera Peltier; his daughters, Jackie Peltier Horn and Lisa Peltier Liverman (Stephen Liverman); his grandchildren, Justin Kacz, Jacqueline Horn, Gary Horn, Jr. (Monica), Heather Ivey Ballard (Brian), Hunter Ivey, Hayden Ivey (Jordy), Mariette Peltier, Bryan Peltier, Jr. and Lyssa Peltier; his great grandchildren, Carter Kacz, Landon, Caroline Ballard, Dominic, Sofia Horn and Anthony Horn; his sister-in-law Esta Peltier; his sons, Richard T. Peltier, Jr. (Jean), Keith Peltier and Bryan Peltier (Michelle); his grandchildren, Monica, Brian, Jordy, Carter Kacz, Landon Ballard, Caroline Ballard, Dominic Horn, Sofia Horn and Anthony Horn; and his friends, Raymond "Freck" LeCompte, Ricky Kucera, Leo Divin, Francis Roberts, George Tacquard and Steve Wleczyk.
