It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Silguero Jr. of Manvel, Texas, who passed away on April 28, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Tony Silguero and Gloria Silguero Villarreal; and his brother-in-law Philip Valdez. He is survived by: his mother Bertha Silguero (Garza); his wife Berta Marie Silguero; his father Jose Silguero, Sr.; his children, Jose Silguero III (Alicia), Jessica Marie Rocha (Robert), Robin René Lucas (Rickey) and James Richard Lucas, Sr. (Shirley Williams); his siblings, Suelma Valdez, Carmen Escalera (Fernando) and Javier Silguero (Sylvia); his siblings-in-law, Rena Graves (Beaux), Ellen Wilson (Dick), Joyce West and Billy Miller; his grandchildren, Elijah Silguero, Aaron Silguero, Zeke Rocha, James Richard Lucas, Jr., James Anthony Lucas, Mia Silguero, Destiny Ortega, Aryana Silguero Rocha, Gabriela Rocha, Mila Rocha and Savannah Owens; and his great grandchildren, Noah Singleton, Ezra Singleton, Kaiden Owens and Braylee Owens. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
