It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Lorraine Van Tassell (Manvel, Texas), who passed away on November 3, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurele Deschene and Lucienne "Lucille" Morin; and her husband Richard Van Tassell. She is survived by: her children, John Van Tassell, April Van Tassell and Phillip Mark Deschene; her daughters-in-law, Heather Van Tassell and Deanna Deschene; her grandchildren, Hope Van Tassell, Fayth Van Tassell, Shauna Deschene, Kara Deschene, Heather Ammon, Phillip Deschene Jr and Rebecca Richards; and her siblings, Harold Deschene (Susan Deschene), Irene Nickerson and Rita Bencivenga. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
