He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Denise Scopel (Randy Reed), Jack Scopel (Theresa) and Jeff Scopel (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Leslie Seddon (Henry), Jason Scopel (Jessica), Robby Scopel (Camille), Lindsay Rumenapp (Adam), Morgan-Ann Miller, Tamra Loftin (Wesley), Corey Scopel (Erica), Justin Scopel (Presleigh) and Layne Scopel (Nicole); and his sister Marie Varner (Dennis).
