He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald L Coil and Joan E Finnell Coil. He is survived by: his wife Paula Coil; his daughters, Sarah Vuskov (Matt) and Jessica Wix (J. D.); his sister Dawn Hoffman (Allan); and his grandchildren, Kailee, Triston, Collin, Chloe, Matthew, Micah, Capri and Cait.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be designated to Love boxes for Embrace Grace, an organization that Doug and Paula were extremely passionate and involved in.
