It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Thomas Sr. (Mansfield, Texas), born in Karnack, Texas, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Thomas and Josie Harris Thomas; his former wife Dorothy Thomas; his wife Oneta Thomas; and his brothers, Lewis Thomas, Alex Thomas Jr., J. B. Russell, J. T. Thomas and Azzie Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Lafaye Milledge, Gwendolyn Henson (Michael), Earnest Thomas Jr. (Deborah), Douglas Thomas and Eddie Thomas (Rhonda); and his siblings, Bessie Russell, Willie Thomas and Robert Thomas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skyvue Funeral Home (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Skyvue Memorial Gardens (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063).
