With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Gross of Mansfield, Texas, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Murray and Mildred Murray; her sister Susan Davis; and her grandson Logan Stansbury. She is survived by: her wife Suzanne Elrod; her children, Julie Derushia of Battle Creek, MI, Doug Gross (Denise) of Jonesbrough, TN, Daniel Gross (Sarah) of Battle Creek, MI, David Gross (Lisa) of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Elrod (Mindy) of Marshall, MI and Carrie Elrod-Donaldson of Mansfield, TX; her godchildren, Derek Kelley and Luci Kelley; and her sister Sandra Allwardt (Phil). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Gift of Life Suicide Prevention and St Jude's Children's Hospital.
