Alvin McKinney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin McKinney of Mansfield, Texas, born in Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glynn McKinney and Charline McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Elaine McKinney; his daughter Sharon McKinney; his grandsons, Everett, Andrew and Hayden McKinney; his son Jason McKinney (Rachel); his granddaughter Olivia McKinney; his brother Michael McKinney (Denise); his pet Maggie; and also Ashley Stone (Jason). He is also survived by two nieces and their families, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blessing Funeral Home (401 Elm St, Mansfield, TX 76063). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blessing Colonial Chapel (401 Elm St, Mansfield, TX 76063). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Emerald Hills Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Marlin Innovation Lab at Port Aransas High School or the Crossover Restoration Foundation in Fort Worth.
