He was predeceased by: his parents, Seberiano Reyes and Carmen Villalobos Reyes; and his siblings, Pablo, Ruperto, Luciano, Manuel, Guadalupe, Felicita Reyes Muniz, Janie Reyes Luna and Hilaria Reyes.
He is survived by: his spouse Romana Samudio Reyes; his children, Rafael Reyes, Jr., Richard Reyes (Linda), Rodolfo "Rudy" Reyes, Santos Rene Reyes (Minu), Antonia (Lionel Falcon), Sylvia (Dave Reyes), Rachel (Winston Watkins), Rita (Gary Willoughby), Alicia Reyes and Irma (John Webb); his siblings, Antonia (John Velasco) and David Reyes (Yvonne); and also Ramona. He is also survived by 10 children, 19 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
