He is survived by: his significant other Ana Galvan-Perkins; his daughter Joyce Houston; and his stepchildren, Anita (Ambus Habbit), Arthur Martinez, Jr., Benjamin Martinez (Cyndee), Fabian Martinez (Andrea), Candi Martinez, Maggie Martinez and Kevin. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
