He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Herrera and Hirginia Herrera of Hutto, TX.; and his siblings, Lazaro, Louisa, Estella and Appalonia.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Rios; and his children, Dianna Castillo, Linda Villegas, Margaret Herrera and Richard Herrera Jr.. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
