She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Johnson and Mattie Bell Grantham Johnson; and her brothers, Eddie Johnson and Leland Johnson. She is survived by: her significant other James A. Bass; her sons, Gregg A. Bass and Glenn E. Bass; her grandchildren, Jacob Bass, Olivia Bass, Ki Bass, Cree Bass, Kason Bass and Kian Bass; and her great grandchildren, Ava Bass and Rhett Bass.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to a memorial fund that has been set up in honor of Myrna's memory to Faith Community Baptist Church.
