In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Marcie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Marcie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doug Gunnels and Nell Gunnels; her grandparents, Barney, Onie Gunnels, Ollie and Eula Mae McClelen; and her uncle Bob Gunnels.
She is survived by: her brother Waylon Gunnels (Linda); and her nephews, Josh Gunnels and Devon Gunnels. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home (403 E Royall Blvd, Malakoff, TX 75148). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
