It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Waitman (Malakoff, Texas), who passed away on May 3, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lazo Chorvich and Catherine Chorvich; and her siblings, George Chorvich, Arthur Chorvich and Mary Kotlarchik.
She is survived by: her husband Dan Waitman; her sister Jane VanDyne; her nieces, Kristin Parisi (Anthony), Suzanne Duncan (Scott), Karen Chorvich, Marta Chorvich, Kathy Bendel and Marie Gross; her nephew Carl Kotlarchik (Karen); her great-nephews, Bradley, Dominic, Victor (Tong) and Garrett (Cassie); her great-niece Catherine; and her children, Kate Nagyova, Rodrigo Yanho, Jake Haaning Andersen, Freya Kuhr, Manuel Pereira, Santiago Ramati, Phillipe Pegado, Hanna Chunna, Carlos Silva Rivas and Fabian Vannebo.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to please make donations to Payne Springs United Methodist Church or Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake.
