He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Hustead and Jessie Hustead; his wife Mary Louise Hustead; his son Jeffrey Lee Hustead; and his brother J. Don Hustead.

He is survived by: his son Todd Hustead; his grandchildren, Hank Hustead (Maira), Jordan Strawn (Blake), Marshall Ray Hustead and Matthew Lee Hustead; and his great grandchildren, Harlyn Rose, Finley Kate and Ethan.
