With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Velda Jean Ladd of Magnolia, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Velda Jean left this world on January 9, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Ratcliff and Claude M. Ratcliff; her significant other Loy G Ladd; her brother Billy Ratcliff; her daughter Debra Jean Stefka; and her great grandchild Sadie Hampton Ladd.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Loy Ladd (Brenda) and Sheri Ladd Vaughn (Tim); her grandchildren, Bryce Stefka, Beau Stefka, Jeni Jean Vaughn Hendrix, Dustin Loy Ladd, Derek Ladd and Nathan Drew Ladd; and her great grandchildren, Blaine Hendrix, Grady Hendrix, Grant Loy Ladd, Henry Ladd and Beau Ross Stefka, II.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Klein Funeral Home - Magnolia (14711 FM 1488 Road, Magnolia, TX 77354). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the GracePoint Fellowship Baptist Church (426 Corporate Woods Dr, Magnolia, TX 77354).
In lieu of flowers, Velda requested to have donations made to the Children's Playground fund at Gracepoint Fellowship Baptist Church.
