With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Owen Charles DeKoch of Magnolia, Texas, who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Charles DeKoch (Bob) and Margaret Jane DeKoch; and his wife Tammy L. DeKoch. He is survived by: his children, Ethan Owen DeKoch (Danielle) of Montgomery, Texas and Melissa DeKoch of Magnolia; his siblings, Jan Chase of Magnolia, Carol Eckstrom (Neal) of Cuero and Rob DeKoch of San Francisco, California.; and his grandchildren, Cooper and Paisley DeKoch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Houston Astros Foundation or to a charity of donor's choice.
