She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Battista; her parents, Betty Young and Saul Young; and her niece Elizabeth Young. She is survived by: her siblings, Ricard Young and Judi MacPherson; her nieces, Ann Young, Carolyn Young Larmore and Rachel Young; and her nephew Richard Young, Jr.. She is also survived by six grandnieces.
