Jason R wrote a sympathy message

“I worked for Bo and Dorie as a farm hand for a few years when I was in high school and college. Dorie was such a sweet and caring woman. She could not stand to see a plant pulled up and not have it replanted elsewhere. She loved her cattle, animals, and community. She had a very fruitful life. Jason Reed.”

Carla Payne wrote a sympathy message

“Dorie was always an inspiration to me in the longhorn industry. As a lady breeder and the work she did with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo I always looked up to her and the cattle she raised. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. My sincere condolences to you and your family. Carla Payne”
